(the mains plug is changed for a 3 pin UK plug) The speaker has been replaced with an Ovation Audient 70, it's 15" and 8 ohms. During the service, my tech changed the power transformer as it had given up! The replacement is housed in an original Ampeg can so it is not noticeable and is 240V, so the amp can be used in Europe without a step-down transformer. My technician has serviced the amp so its ready to go with no issues and comes with 30-day warranty. The latches work as they should with no issues. (hence the hole) Everything else is here, the light up logo, the chrome Ampeg logo on the front of the cab and a dolly. The tilt back leg is missing as is the metal insert in the back of the cab. The grill cloth and metalwork are in good condition. These early models did not have the serial on the back of the amp Chassis, instead, the serial number was on a small label glued to the inside of the cabinet. Serial number: 301548 ( denoting January 1963) Ideal for low volume studio work. ![]()
